Doc. JUDr. Ing. Zdeněk Dufek Ph.D. graduated from the Law Faculty of Masaryk University and from the Faculty of Business and Economics of Mendel University. He also completed studies in a postgraduate study program focused on business valuation at Mendel University. He graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Brno University of Technology with a doctoral degree. The topic of his dissertation was the evaluation of the economic efficiency of public construction investments. He is an authorized expert in the field of economics and specializes in the valuation of businesses, the efficiency of public building investments and the economics of public contracts. He is a holder of a FIDIC certificate. He is a member of the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Brno University of Technology and a presidium member of the Czech Association of Experts and Appraisers. He speaks English and German.
The aim of the training is to highlight the most common mistakes in the process of investment-based public building construction and provide participants with recommendations on how to avoid them. The training also aims to familiarize public sector representatives with procedures for the effective selection of public project variants, the preparation of project assignments, the selection of a designer, supervisor and contractor, the use of BIM tools and evacuation models, and the management of the construction and operation of the building after completion.
